Very nice! Maybe I would have cropped out the plants in the top left corner, but then again, that would mean cutting off the top of the tree in the other side of the frame (assuming a straight "horizontal" crop). Great shot in any case.

mmmmmmmmm really nice shot! ... Badlands somewhere? I love the angle you've taken with the shot, and the person, certainly adds some perspective, which I think would otherwise be lost. Nice job. :)

These are the Cheltenham Badlands not far from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It's a very popular place for photographers to shoot.
"The Cheltenham Badlands is one of the best examples of badland topography in Ontario, making it an Area of Natural and Scientific Interest (ANSI). Around the turn of the century, land clearing and livestock grazing caused the erosion of the underlying red shale, leaving a hummocky network of exposed trenched gullies on the lower slopes of the Niagara Escarpment. The resulting unique topography has gained considerable public interest, attracting thousands of international and local visitors annually, including numerous high school and university students studying geology and erosion."

Wonderful undulating waves of orange!

Great texture shot. The addition of the person adds so much in terms of scale. That lifeless tree seems distracting. Great shot!

I sure hope people click on this one and get to see the full size shot, because the thumbnail does not do it justice. I really like the tiny littleperson and tree way up in the corner. It gives you a great sense of scale.
