i almost didn't click on this because from the thumbnail i expected it to be too obvious, but there is something here that totally works for me.

somehow, there is a little bit of unexpected mystery created by the "space" (and by that maybe i mean energy) between the top and the bottom halves

and i think that is a big part of the quality of "opposites": the questions they raise and the tension between them.
