I really dont see the relevance to opposites...But i might not be looking hard enough

I thought the opposites in this were so obvious! Goes to show that what's in my head isn't necessarily what other people see. :)
The opposites here are the colors/text painted on the sidewalk, contrasted on the left/right. On the left, there is *DPT* written in yellow on a red background and on the right there is *DPT* written in red on a yellow background.
Maybe the depth of field is too shallow for this to come through?
(By the way, DPT refers to the Department of Parking and Traffic in Chinatown in San Francisco. On the rainy day that I was walking around there, these bright colors caught my eye!)

Ah, the Department of Parking & Traffic. My archenemy. This organization with the cool neo-communist logo has cost me about $700-$1,000 in parking tickets over the last four years. The opposites for me personally is my loathing for the organization and my love for the logo design.
I think the wetness doesn't help that much though, since it is obscuring the contrasts of the reversed-out lettering - same with the shallow depth of field. Unless you are going for a different kind of opposite that is over my head.
Although good luck getting a dry sidewalk in San Francisco right now :)

Stupid red zones. Stupid yellow zones. Stupid DPT. I hate DPT.
I like the picture, though :). Probably was recent given the wet ground... the wetness gives it a really nice sheen.
