Simple and to the point. Works well.

I love old sign pictures- rust has a lot of character. Not sure if I like the high contrast treatment or not, but it does make a stark strong image.

I thought at first glance these were adjacent signs but on close inspetion it appears it is two images. That reduced its impact for me. I was taken by the irony of the opposite message, but particularly if they were next to one another.

Opposites certainly. It would work much more effectively had there been some way to include them in the same frame. They're great signs but the contrast is a bit top-heavy for my liking. I'd liked to have seen more of the reds and greens and other colours.

When I fist saw the thumbnail I thought it was on image, no matter. I think the images/image of the signs were just overworked. Sometimes I think old signs etc just look good with very little post processing. But then again I do alot of post preocessing to my images too.

I would really have liked this better if it was just one single photo rather than a diptych.
