Now this makes me smile, I really like the compostion. One tiny thing that distracts my eye is the dog's lead being visible, other than that, great shot!

It makes me wonder who is observing who. Great image. The contrasts, because of the space, are excellent.

Yet they have the same haircut....

I love the picture- I would be very proud to have taken it. I scored it high for the composition- I think having the two subject punch in from the sides of the frame really works well.
Like a lot of the others entries, I don't get the relevancy of it as well as a few other photographs. Love the picture, though.

Love it! Very cute.
The gray background perfectly sets off the two subjects. I also like the interaction between the dog and the photographer: facing each other but each's task different, and yet the same.

("no ratings" because i accidently posted my ratings without a comment)
conceptually this totally works for me and it makes me smile
(i gave it 5 for relevance and 4 for impact)
with respect to the technique/composition/quality level i feel it's a bit lacking:
i want it to have a bit more saturation (easily corrected)
and because there are strong graphical aspects in the background i wish they "supported" the concept of "opposites" more; either by being more symmetrical or by lending something completely different to each side of the frame.
that said, the total effect overrides these issues for me and i do love this!

This doesn't really say "opposites" to me although perhaps I'm looking for something more literal. I find the railing at the top of the frame a little distracting too.
