excellent capture, it brought a smile to my face, which is exactly what i needed this grey morning;) maybe if the composition had been a little tighter, with some of the space to the left cropped out, it'd been an even more striking image. still, it's a darn good shot!

I can't quite get the "opposites" theme here unless it's the fact that the man on the right seems to be smoking near an "Explosives" sign?

kerboom! Looks like an accident waiting to happen! I like the idea of the shot, but it feels a little cluttered and untidy (man behind the sign & sign behind the man) I realise it was taken on the spur of the moment, but I feel the image itself lack a little impact because of it.

I'm not sure I understand this. Is he about to smoke?

Maybe the sign should state "No Smoking" - but perhaps that is too obvious? :-)

Oh, love this photograph. I realize you probably couldn't move around and frame it better, maybe a tight square crop would help out a bit to center my eyes toward the subject.

It's a great, fun shot. The local paper once had a picture of a fellow with a stern look on his face and a lit cigarette hanging off his lip with a caption saying he was looking for a natural gas leak. Priceless.

Hope this fellow doesn't lose his job.

haha this is funny for sure. i have friends that work at Chevron and always complain that some people light up while in their cars getting gas.= I find it's more irony than opposites
