A little past half, but that really a little past "First Quarter"!! I think a little tighter framing would make this more powerful. Also, unless you live in LA the moon usually not this color. White balance might be off...?

No it is the First Quarter, Google moon phases, but let's not argue... I am used to seeing the moon this color, cause I live in the LA area, but when I go to Joshua Tree NP, I see a moon of a different color!!

A half moon looks like half a circle. It is sometimes called a quarter moon (this Moon has completed one quarter of an orbit around the Earth from either the full or new position and one quarter of the moon's surface is visible from Earth).
