No, not 2 halves, one half. The theme is titled "One Half" not just "Half". OK, now I ranting... Without the split composite you would have both a better take on the theme, but also, a better image.

To me this says BOTH halves not ONE half. Also, the coins are slightly different sizes. The impact would have been higher had they matched.

I'm not sure I get this composition at all. i see half fingers and blurred edges in the middle. did you put two shots together of the same thing? Does that not make this two sides of the coin? so not half? i have got to be missing something. also, the coins are not in focus, but the fingers are?

hmmm...not much relevance or impact for me. I think this might've worked better if it were not such a straight-on shot. I think that showing the edge as opposed to both sides would've been more relevant as well.
