Ah Half Dome in Yosemite. What a grand landmark. I would have liked to have seen more contrast on this image as well as a lighter tone to it.

I'm guessing we're looking at half a mountain? Overall, this image is much too dark.

Great find. Half a mountain! I wish it had a little more contrast on the face of the mountain as opposed to the top for a little more impact for this theme. It is a little dark. But I really like this one for it's relevance.

Yes, unfortunately the sun isn't always in the most desirable place at the moment when one realizes "this is a great scene", hence the poorer lighting. But it is Half Dome in Yosemite National Park, CA.
