That is not fun for the owner of the truck. Begs the question how did the truck get there? Was he launching a boat and ended up in the drink?

Relevance is good and it's a good documentary shot. I think it tells more of a story than anything else. There is a theme on Vazaar for a shot that tells a story, might work really well there.

The story:
We were getting ready to launch our boat, and waiting for this truck to move out of the way. He was launching that yellow jet ski you see in the background. As we were waiting, we noticed the truck sliding down the launch....quickly. We all got out to help, but by the time we ran down the hill, the truck was completely submerged, and the diver was swimming out. After all was said and done, a dive team and this tow truck showed up. The truck was so far below the surface that the divers had to go down deep to hook up the truck. I posted a shot of the divers in the "help" theme.

Dr Jones...what do you feel is in focus here? because I took a shot of the whole scene, not focusing on anything...wide lens. Let me know what you're seeing! Thanks!

I am going to guess that this is ana's - I recall a story and an image from a previous theme that is similar. To me there is too much going on here to make me focus on any one thing let alone a half of something.

it's okay, it was a pretty darn good day for me all around!
I'm really trying to figure out how you are missing the half a truck...all the lines sort of go to the vehicle in the water...hard to miss it!
not something that is often seen!! :)

It is not that I am missing the truck, it is very evident but there are so many things in the image competing for attention to make my eye want to settle there and take it in. Sometimes it is hard to explain why or why not a photo doesn't work for me, and the me is the key here, because it is my personal taste and it does not necessarily align with the popular majority of the group. :-)

Oh, don't worry. I'm actually quite used the the majority disliking my photos. :)
I also misread your comment, and thought you couldn't find a half of anything at all, in my shot.
