Well I thought that if the whole image was sharp then it was just a glass of milk rather than a "is it half empty or half full" concept.
but perhaps you are right.

Simple and to the point. I give you a 5 for relevance but over all, the shot is not in focus.
pursang said 378 days ago:
Really clever idea. I only wish the image was a tad sharper.

It all depends on whether you're filling the glass or emptying it. Great shot and revelance to the theme.

Is the glass half empty or half full? I'm not really sure....relevant, of course but a bit blurry, in my opinion.

this is so relevant and made me smile! I really wish the focus was more on the whole glass, instead of that tight dof on that lip of the glass.

Full or empty?
Flatline said 377 days ago:
Hehehe... I gotta say it: "Half Empty."
Flatline said 377 days ago:
BTW, I gave you high marks, except for Technique because the image was soft - too shallow DOF. I guess others noticed it, too. A minor quibble though, the point was made.
Tanja said 377 days ago:
that's the idea 'we' had...:)
glad you had it too!
great DOF, processing and overall pic! high marks!
simple but super!

Hey that glass is half empty!
This is a nice clean shot.
Tanja said 377 days ago:
looks pretty full to me :)
Beamer said 377 days ago:
Wonderful, just a tiny bit tilted but very, very nice.
ChriZ said 376 days ago:
Dang, who did this? I had the same idea!
Very well executed!

Congratulations Tracy. Now give me back my glass of milk! ;-)

This is just so smart so perfect for the theme- my favourite. The softness doesn't bother me at all. Glad that your cup over flows now!

Nice take on the theme. A little soft overall, perhaps a little more DOF would help. But well done with the tones and generally a nice one.
