This is interesting but the letters and numbers on the boats are distracting. My eyes went to that first and not the main focus of the image.

I understand what you mean, but those numbers are part of the boats, as their license plates.

What I would say @the number, they seem to be quite prominent. I would not paint them out, I would make a mask and knock them back a little in value.
I love that you didn't show half of something...split the screen in half is very relevant to me...

@ Beamer if you see how this one cuts the frame in half, then I just don't get how you didn't "get" how mine was one half?
