I like the contrasty post-processing of this shot, and the fag ends in the grit add a nice splash of colour to the foreground

I'd hate to run over those in a car.

I LOVE this, the coloring makes it look sinister, like a bad guy is going to enter the scene next, indie movie style.

and on a different note pot holes bring back the memory of folks on the radio endlessly complaining about the county council not doing their job :)

I like the grittiness of this image, the colours and shallow dof. My only thought would to have cropped it mid hole.

Not sure I want to tread there... Very interesting perspective and just enough context to make sense. Looks almost toxic.

The contrast is pretty extreme, esp. the shadows, but I love the low point of view. Id be tempted to crop to bottom a bit - the quality suffers here
