Shame abou tthe blown highlights, but that does cause the wonderful colour under the stairs. Nicely framed, and an interesting take on the theme

I'd have taken a bit off the top to make the treads more a focus. nice, and relevant.

I also enjoy the black at the top, which added depth and contrast.

I think we tread on the other side of this??? The subject is great, if not inverted, but the composition is distracting. The big shadow area really pulls my eye, then the hot highlights are next, then my eye finally finds the steps.
