Oh yes... nice reminder of what is to come!

Its nicely composed shot, but Im not sure of the relevance of the footprints in this or the two sandshots. these make it more 'where we trod'

Dave_Mac said 258 days ago:

@Ana - Thanks!

@Stolenlife - This is actually a photo of where I was about to tread (not past tense) because these are not my foot prints. They belong to a wolf and I was following them.

Very nice, would like to be there myself right now. The strong blue cast to the foreground seems a bit out of place with the background, did you push the saturation on this?? Seems like a bit.

King said 258 days ago:

My favorite of the "foot print" images so far. Quite effective. Was this shot just for the theme? The footprints appear not to be fresh.

High marks.

@Beamer: Thanks! No stauration push on this shot. It was a very cold and clear skied day. The entire landscape had a bluish cast to it.

@King: Thanks! I debated posting it. Even though it isn't a person's footprints in the sand, it followed the same line of thinking....obviously I decided to post it anyway! This was taken last winter during my yearly snowmobile trip into no man's land. These wolf tracks were about 8 hours old (per the tracking expert that was with us!)

Montage said 258 days ago:

I wish there was someone off in the distance, just as the footprints disappear.

Montage said 258 days ago:

Although, now I see they're wolf footprints, maybe it's a good thing there's not a person in the distance!
