I dont know why but I really really like this picture. Definatly old. Its relevance in my opinion is right on. I think its composition in my opinion as well is good. From what I know about composition that is....Image quality I think is dead on for this picture as well.

@ChriZ: 33% single raw file HDR + 33% sepia effect + 33% dark gradient to darken the sky. Now you know the secret, I have to kill you. ;)

Lovely photo. I would have taken some care not to darken the top of the foreground tree so much--not so easy, but can be done in Photoshop. Was this scanned from a print. When and where did you take this photo? I like it a lot.

The picture is taken in Romania, in a village called Sirnea.
