Lovely intimate shot. I do find the background distracting, but I don't suppose there is much that could have been done about that.

This obviously has an old person in it - but to me doesn't hit me hard with 'old'. Definetely lacking impact in this one.

What appears to be a lovely moment captured...what's going through her mind? She seems very reflective!

Yes, she's a bit old, but that's the only thing about this image that I like. Some things that could be improved:

- The background is very busy. I realize sometimes you don't have a choice, but perhaps you could have moved around a bit.

- We don't see her eyes, and have no connection with who she is.

- Her pose is awkward and unflattering.

- The sun is very bright (which I realize is why she's shading her eyes), but is makes for a very constrasty image. Unfortunately, what brides consider a glorious day for a wedding isn't the best for photography.

I suspect that someone who knows this lady would like this image quite a bit more, and it would be welcomed as a family photo. From a pure photographic standpoint, though, it has some flaws.
