I have a bit of a hard time with the relevance here - although I have to say that i love the photograph - I think that it would be stronger without the selective colouring. Tough to hear - I also used this technique on one of my favourite photos - I LOVED IT - others did not - and now after time I agree with the critique. I might try to adjust the filer value in chanel mixer to deepen the blacks somewhat - but 100 percent on composition for dang sure.

i don't know if i like the selective coloring, but i do like the photo it's self.
