I get a kick out of the fact that the blue in her hair is the same as is reflected in the water. It seems like you used a flash - the front woman's nose is casting a relatively harsh shadow on the older woman's neck. Also, your Depth of Focus is too shallow - the woman in back is in focus, but the front one isn't.

Yes, the flash was unfortunate. I should have managed the light better. The DOF, however, was on purpose. This was exactly what I wanted.

I am such a fan of saturation, the women seem fabulous, with their coiffed hair. A true sense of self comes through in their faces. I love this.

A lovely idea and a beautiful composition - personally i'd have like to have seen the younger woman as sharp as the older and maybe the whole thing could use a little less saturation - but overall a great image.
