I cannot tell what this is, so it's hard to determine relevance. It appears to ba a hammer perhaps?

The DOF doesn't make sense to me, there is a razor thin line of focus across the image, but it's placement is confusing to me. I think it would be better totally out of focus or with the focus placed at the top of the object.
