Very arresting shot but I feel the focus is not that sharp in the key area of the wristband

i'm a huge fan of the hand. it speaks volumes... brings up a lot of social issues, so definitely a 5 for impact. i might have left a little more room to the left edge, but other than that i like it.

great image... the wristband with ethel's name, gives it such a forboding feel. it seems as if shes nervously moving her hands a bit. very nice.

This is a powerful symbol of one growing old in the American culture when placed in a nursing home. I don't know if this is the case for this person but I am reminded of it, none-the-less. I like this image as it could be anyone (our grandmother, our mother, aunt....).
