This picture is a difficult one for me to rate. I think that the grain works. I think the man's expression is intense and gripping. But I'm not sure if I like the unbalanced lighting. I think with that heavy a contrast the dark space should either be much larger or symmetrical with the white space. What's that on his head?

wow I really like the color/light scheme. his look is very captivating too (reminds me a bit of christopher walken :D). The only thing that disturbs me a bit is his nose.
