interesting composition, i gave it a 4 for the risk!

It feels like this diptych was cut off and we're not seeing most of the right picture. Otherwise, I think that I would really like this. If it's correct, then I don't get the right picture.

A lovely diptych. Behold the tree...and what's beyond. A strong western/cowboy quality to this. A "settlers moving out west" feel.

Wonderful range of whites to blacks, and in fact the bright white slice between the two frames becomes part of the overall tonality.

Relevance seems off. I don't get much sense of noise/grain on the right image, and on the left the ground appears unnatural and out of focus compared to the fairly sharp branches, though the clouds are noisy. And terrific. Love 'em.

An unknown for this image in this theme is the degree to which the "diptych" element will affect its rating. "Diptych" is an obvious element, but the quality of its diptychness can't be measured as "good" or "bad" against any of the other shots as most or all are not diptychs. In a sense, you've submitted two images in one upload.

Nonetheless, the overall effect is palpable.
