it looks like you didnt need such a high iso here. I wonder if it was added in photoshop or done on purpose. I guess what Id like to see is noise for the sake of the picture. Not the picture for the sake of noise.

No, the noise wasn't added. This was shot in a windowless room in a wine cave in the South of France, hence an ISO of 800. It is horribly noisy, so I punched up the contrast to at least try and get the image to be somewhat visually interesting beyond the subjects and their debauchery.
