hicks0r, this was taken early in the morning on a deep zoom with a not so expensive camera. It wasn't a phone camera, but it wasn't an SLR or anything. I thought it was a perfect entry for this category because it didn't turn out so well, and the noise is all natural...unlike a lot of the sumits.

While I appreciate comments, you can keep the rude- tactlessness to yourself from now on.

@ana I'm sorry if I don't put my opinion in words about that photo, I "say it" in "ratings", I know Weaklyshot is a special site becouse we try to comment the photos in another way than other sites.

Excuse me that coment, I was this weekend 12 hours photograping planes and helicopters in Aire06 in Murcia (Spain) ... to much sun on my head.

Delete my firts comment will be ok.

The photo: for my has a lot of noise and a really poor sharpness, I don't understand anything on it.

I agree that there is a bit too much noise, but as I said, this noise wasn't added, it's all natural. This was taken from the shore, standing along the dock. It was VERY early, and a lot of fishermen were getting ready to head out. A boat had just left, and these folks were at the end of the dock, talking.

Beautiful colors! The noise is very attractive. My only qualm is in the focus on the people. I do not think that the noise is causing the distorted effect here as much as something else. I wonder if it is depth of field that has rendered them more "fuzzy" and not noisy?

In either case, the people are a relatively small portion of the image. I greatly enjoy the photograph and I thank you for posting it as it has helped me to grow and understand more.

This certainly is relevant for the theme and there is a little moodiness to the image, but overall I would say this image has more potential than it has success.
