Oh my god, can one still make those shots nowadays ? They're so 1920's. The lighting falls very well on the subjects, and the framing is perfect. This same shot, either "aged" or shown in their natural colours, vivid and genuine, would work very well too, I'm sure.

I see subtle grain in this... partially in the background, but mainly in the pant legs and jackets.

If you sharpen the image the grain is really apparent.

Hardly anybody sees grain and the photo is featured. Well done :)

And ironically, this photo is more appropriate for the current theme, "old age" :)
