If I were to give this a title I would call it "Contemplation" Nice relevance to the theme. I only wish the horizon didn't cut him off at the neck. A higher or lower angle would have been better IMHO.

Great subject, great relevance. I would drop the horizon closer the the rule of 1/3s, see a little more sky, little less sand.

Thanks Beamer - I understand what you're saying about the sky, but for this particular photo the footsteps was important to me. I thought it was interesting to show how the foreground was obviously heavily traveled, but everything beyond seems like uncharted territory.
