It doesn't quite look like night to me, but more importantly, to me the shot lacks a little in impact.

Might not be too bad living across the bridge from that beach :-) Image quality suffers, particularly in the sky. I like the overall feel and think you've done a pretty good job of conveying the sense of dusk/dawn.

Looking for a main subject here and though the lights are on, this doesn't say "night" to me. There are so many strong images in this theme, though this is pretty good, I think it's comparing poorly.
