I'm conflicted ;) I love all the different colours of light, but at the same time it's a bit busy. I'm in two minds as to trying to maybe clone out what I guess is the moon towards the top left? I think also maybe the light pole on the right that stretches up and breaks the top of the frame. To be probably overly technical, that sort of leads my eye out of the scene and is distracting.

Sorry to hear that my photo makes you feel conflicted Dennis. It is supposed to be an honest representation of a fairly cluttered urban street scene.

I like this kind of image / technique - it would have been even better (my humble opinion) a bit closer (lots of distracting objects everywhere in the image)

relevant, but very busy and fussy. the construction site and all those large, shop windows take away from the interesting parts of this photo.

well, upon reading...I see we have all agreed it's a busy shot. Even you, the photographer MEANT it to be a busy shot. Therefore, the busy feel becomes the main focus, and the fact that it's also at night is secondary. Since that's what you meant, then you've succeeded.

I love the light trails along with the blue street light and the light from the moon.

I think this might be a tad overexposed. Also I think you could have cropped out everything below the bulldozer. I love light trails though, so ultimately I still like this shot.
