Nice picture, though I'm not totally sure it says night to me. Could probably be a bit sharper as well.

If you're looking for a way to depict night in whatever town this is, I can't imagine a better photo. I think this one really rocks.

@ nattfodd - What exactly does it say to you? When I look at it, I see that this market just comes alive when the sun goes down and the lights come on. Clearly this is the center of all activity here. It's like the Times Square of it's locale and the early night is when it's really jumping.

This is the square Jma el Fna, in Marrakesh, the door of the desert. From much before Times Square it was built, every day when the sun goes down, there come hundreds of sellers of meal, and a multitude invades the square.
