This is a great take on the theme and well done. I think the only thing hurting the impact of this image, which is subtle and may take more time to appreciate, is the white format of WS surrounding it. So 5-4-5-5-5 and if I could see it against a black matt it would likely be straight 5's.

Well, I like it! But my attempts as minimialist shots with the moon have not fared too well. My only construcitve criticism here would be that it I think the clouds barely visible at the bottom should be cloned out...and if this is a composite, the moon could have been a little further away from the branches.

This is kind of nice. The trees could use a little more contrast, but good overall. Very nice composition.

Nice moon shot. I'm surprised we haven't had more of these. I think I'd like a little more contrast, but this is really great.

Thanks for the feedback. This is the partial eclipse of the moon last September. It's not a composite image so the moon is positioned as best I could from the muddy field that I was stood in. I've taken the contrast of the tree as far as I can - it doesnt look like night and looks too artificial if it's taken further in my opinion.
