High mark on relevance. The distant bright stuctures distract my eye too much. The boat also seems a bit soft, also looks like inside would be a great place to have a quiet party :-)

I sometimes like this type of soft effect, but in this image it has caused the boat to look too fake - like it was added into the frame afterwards. I'm not sure how the image was created, and realize perhaps it was intended to look like this. Relevance, impact, and composition are all good.

Thanks for the comments & suggestions, both are rights
@ George : a quiet (ghost:) party there should really be the Place !!!
@ uncommondepth : I think you are a medium - yep it was made on pûrpose (http://www.somedaysomewhere.net/Photoblog/index.php?showimage=51)
Thanks again ;-)

JIMJIM, there is, nonetheless, a strong feeling in this image :-)

If my internet sleuthing is any good, that would be Notre Dame de la Garde in the distance?

JIMJIM said 587 days ago:

you are right George !! il s'agit bien de Notre Dame de la Garde au loin, Marseille !
Bien Vu ;-))

This seems like it would be a great shot without all the processing. Unfortunately, when I look at it I see the processing first and the image second. I'm not sure if that's what you were going for, but it seems on this site it should be the other way around.

I really like this photo.
