A well executed image. I like the green lighting around the bottom of the structure. Composition might be improved with a tighter crop bottom and right.

A well handled industrial theme. Seems more about the plant then "night" but technically this is excellent.

Well, it is a long exposure, but also one taken at night. It was about 1AM last night, actually. I guess it doesn't *scream* night, but it is a night shot.

Seems like we've seen this cement plant from another angle before. Is it significant in some way to the photographer.

No special significance, I was just out last night and got a couple of these shots. I posted another one on Vazaar.

This scores tops for me in all areas, with the exception of impact and composition, and only because it seems to be missing a primary subject. You've got the context and feel all laid out so well, but my eye isn't moving to one single thing.

I'm just a sucker for architectural renderings- even dismal industrial scenes. So for me, that really is the only subject.

Your ratings bumped my overall score just under 3.5, but my lowest in in impact, so I suppose others may have the same sentiments as you.

Jason, I see and know what you mean/feel about architectural renderings. I suppose that in a film, say, this for me could be the establishing shot of an ensuing scene. Again, I really like this image, but if only you had a nude sliding gracefully down the conveyor belt...now wouldn't that just clinch it??? ;-)
