Thanks for the comments! Some more info: this is a 30 minute exposure at the top of a waterfall near my cottage in the Muskoka's (Ontario, Canada). The white light on the horizon is light from the nearest city.

Love the star trails. All that's missing is a focal point, like a bit of foreground interest. The glow behind the trees over the water is very nice. Subtle.
