Hey Seeking Focus (Jason) - thanks for the nice comment and for checking out the site - as for the flare on the lights there was nothing special, maybe it's a combination of aperture setting and exposure time on this lens (Canon EF 70-300). It probably has to do with light bouncing off the blades and back onto the sensor. I haven't learned how to control it yet which would be nice.

Many thanks for the comments everyone. Kadenajack - the way looking stacks look that way because they have a spiral staircase running up to the top for access - I work here so I see those stacks every day :)

Superb. I love the "Martian" sky, the bright lights, the silhouetted chimneys... in fact, all of it!

I just want to add my two penneth, say jolly spifing image, and weep at the fact that I have come nowhere close to creating something like this as yet. One can but hope! Bravo, bravissimo!
