I don't think the tree or lower horizon line is needed at all. The image for me is the far horizon line, the sky, and the color. The negative space within just that is absolutely amazing and powerful. Including the bottom just detracts from it for me. So for me I'd crop the bottom just above the tree and an equal amount from the top to even it out and you have a definate wall hanger!
