I almost feel like you have too much negative space here. I feel myself wanting to see her other eye. It's a great image though and is still satisfying despite that.

I like the intensity of the over the shoulder pose. Very stoic (sp?). The dark space definately enhances the feelings from the expression on the face (or lack thereof).

But all kidding aside, this is a great shot, and a wonderful use of negative space. The narrow band of light beautifully captures her looks. Top marks from me.

My rule of thumb is to weight the image on the side of the frame faced by the subject, unless I have a good reason not to. Therefore, this otherwise fine portrait holds less appeal for me. Could use, IMHO, some judicious cropping.

Wow, 24 ratings, many of them clearly all 5s, and 14 comments, and still not featured!! Obviously a deep division of opinion on this one.
