The two bright lines running through this detract from the negative spacyness for me. It's still relevant, but it would be stronger for the theme without that. Outside of the negative space theme, I like those lines.

love the darkness of this shot, and the shadow. wishing those two white lines weren't going down both sides. would make the space more negative.

I chose what to me exemplifies using negative space in a photo. not the description (truly minimalist photos..) of the theme.

I agree highly with your interpretation of negative space here. It becomes more a part of the image for sure. Good work.

nice, great execution, would have like to have done it! take a look at some of sabine weiss' 50s pictures from paris, similar feel.
