Good negative space. I think you may have gone a little too far on the shallow depth of field. My eye really want's to focus on more of the apple.

I think this would have worked better with a uniform background - the white object on the right is distracting.

Nicely executed. Would have been straight 5s with a more photogenic apple occupying a little less of the frame.

It is simple, I'll give you that. I think this photo *may* be more effective without the brighter blob on the right. I'm sorry that I don't have anything more positive to offer, but the photo doesn't evoke from me any particular thoughts or feelings.
