I'm not crazy about this photo, in general, but I'm forced to give it high marks. I'll let someone else comment on the artifacts of noise reduction and/or sharpening. Oh, wait, I just commented. Oh, well, I'm not counting off much.

...forced because it fits so well in most of the rating categories. It's a good photo that doesn't ice my cake, that's all.

The way you have framed this image it seems as if the plane is going to crash -- this is by no means a negative I just find it interesting.

I work for American Airlines. AA employees are understandably sensitized to anything regarding aircraft crashes. I didn't say it above, but mtmartini's words are one reason I don't particularly like this image...it brings up uncomfortable associations.

King (and others) this shot was taken from a boat I was on in the Harbor in Boston. It was on its way to landing at Logan airport, so no chance of a crash, etc.

The image was edited to have a mild desaturation and in the process, it got pixelated and the quality was not as good as i had liked...

Most crashes occur on takeoff or landing.
