I might have been tempted to clone out those lights up top, but this is a good image with nice use of negative space.

You could have cloned out those lights at the top and no one would have missed them. This is pretty good, but that would have made it stronger.

There are some very pretty colors in the window, and I really like how the organ is very dimly side lit.

As for the composition and use of negative space, I think it fits the theme, but I find it a little confusing. It looks like you shot this from the floor and I'm not sure what that buys you in this case. I like the silhouettes, but the framing seems off to me because of the low perspective and the negative space seems (to me) to be more of an accident.

If this were cropped to the scene, I think I would really like it much better. But of course, then you would lose your negative space!

A beautiful window, indeed. Appears to be in focus. Could use, IMHO, some judicious cropping. See my thread on Negative Space in the WS Google group.

Thanks for the comments...I was going to clone the lights out, but I got lazy.

IMO, I could crop out the excess foreground and still have a decent amount of negative space. To me, the more significant negative space is to the side of the window, as the lightness fades into darkness. But that's just me. But make no mistake, the low perspective, and resultant dark foreground was no mistake.
