Ha. I like the humorous aspect here. Well done. I don't think the narrow-ish DOF works well here, because the eye is immediately drawn to the photo anyway, so why restrict the focus. In fact, my eye tends to pull back toward the brighter part of the foreground on the left, which happens to be soft. At any rate, I enjoy the playfulness. High marks just for that.
