Thanks for the comments everyone. I wasn't trying to make any kind of statement about my preference for the theme, just trying to represent it literally with a negative symbol and space.

The thumbs down is the arm of one of my employees and the space shot is actually an old picture of the Hale Bopp comet I took whenever it was in the neighborhood. I hid the comet behind his hand.

I think I also fairly represented the spirit of the theme with this composition too, even if I did have tongue planted firmly in cheek.
