It's a wide crop, sure. But does the amount of negative space (if that's what it is) add anything? Not for me.

I am at a loss for words. It is beautiful and vivid! What is especially pleasaing about the image (amongst the many pleasing things) is how the bolts or rivets of the building are so prominent in an almost "negative" way as well.

Such a good shot! So fitting in with the them! Yet, all from an image that at first glance would not necessairily be one that would encourage you to take your camera out and try to capture it.

Bravo!

This image, IMHO, really deserves to be featured as it exemplifies what the theme is about and does it in a very sophisticated manner. I'll say it again- just a super image.

If this was a candid photo, I have no suggestions, simply my congratulations on *another* featured image. Knowing just a tiny bit about your work, I suspect that this is probably a snapshot (i.e., candid).

However, if the model is cooperating with the photographer, I think that with very little effort the pose could be much improved and would greatly enhance this photograph. An obvious question, what is she doing with her right hand, which is awkwardly cropped off just above the wrist?

If she were holding a diet coke, that would probably please cdcootie.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. Again, great to get this kind of energy around a shot.

King: You suspect correctly, this was a candid snapshot of my girlfriend at IKEA. I had already wolfed down my steam hotdogs, while she was still eating. As for her right hand, I've just been reminded that Sara was sitting down and the other hand is holding down her skirt from flying in the wind. So, a very practicle pose. ;)

Now for the record, Sara and I are both Coke Classic fans. We're actually in talks with IKEA to change all their stores from carrying Pepsi to Coke. But man, is it ever an uphill battle ! ;-)
