I find the red triangles in the upper left and lower right corners distracting from an otherwise strong and interesting composition.

i think the main criticisms of my shot are the corners... but i thought the layers and layers of "rust" or whatever it is covering the object was interesting. but... i guess not.

Closer would be better, the red in the upper left and lower right is obviously not the subject and would should be croped out

drazin--The different layers and textures are interesting. But the two triangular areas do not appear intentional. I think they should have either been excluded or made more prominent. There are many compositional possibilities here!
