I like the monochrome patterns in the image but wish it was squared up as it feels unbalanced with the lines tilting down to the right. It may not fit the theme but wouldn't a person in a red shirt in one of those windows just be cool!

A fun shot with the repetitive patterns...and it does approach an abstraction to a degree for me, but doesn't quite get there. As I imagine others might say, the edges of the buildings aren't parallel with the frame, which may have been your intention. I think I'd prefer either parallel or more out of kilter. As it is it feels unplanned. The different buildings up against one another is a neat effect. I like that.

Thanks for your excellent comments. I'm not sure it's unbalanced. Perhaps not quite straight, but then the right-hand side seems to be. I decided to leave the 'curves' in as I like the effect - it makes it look a bit strange. May not have been the right decision.
