No this shot really has several different things going for it. It does look a bit like a satellite image but it also a great contrast to it both in tones and in depth. The depth from the liquid and the obvious flattness of the background make it very interesting to look at. Without the warm light on the background I doubt this would have the impact it does. Bravo.

This is the mess that leaked under the door to my new porch just after I caulked the threshold--I wasn't smart enough to check the weather first: rainwater mixed with diluted caulk. The background is raw, unfinished concrete. Both the contrast and the saturation have been boosted, otherwise a straight photo.
