Makes me think of a three legged ballerina warming up with her break dance spin move. Funny how a flower can do that. That touch of black in the upper right is a bit distracting. Yet, lovely and abstract and beautiful.

To me this is abstract, particularly vis a vis the theme as described. The more I look at it the more stunned I am. The light is divine. It could be a backdrop for a set piece at a World's Fair or a major Broadway musical. The more I look the more I like. Superb work, Mitch.

I see a mirror image of Rockettes dancers, or syncronized swimmers. Very beautiful!

I absolutely see the dancers! Was the first thing that came to mind.
Nicely done!

@George...three-legged dancer was my first thought, too.
Excellent work, Mitchh...congratulations.

It reminds one of those old Hollywood spectacle films where they filmed girls from overhead making patterns with their legs! I think this is one of the most fun I've seen. I thin this is in borderland too, not quite an abstract perhaps.

Thank you all for your comments and constructive criticism. I, too, dislike the small dark triangle at the top, but refrained from cropping or cloning it out. Perhaps I should reconsider cloning (I don't like what cropping would do to the composition).

This is a GREAT abstract. Its not a wonder with your talent that you've gotten featured.

Thank you, Dave.

This is a beautiful macro shot, but I wouldn't really consider it abstract.
