Love this....the white sweater just pops out at you then flows to the other girls eyes..staring at you. I wish you were also able to get more of her feet but I understand that you were shooting on the fly and had to work quickly to capture this. That bench has soo much character...they don't make that like they used to. High marks for me.

This is an interesting photo, but does not give a clearly defined sense of space to me--which I think would add to its relevance as a neighborhood image.

Great eye contact though, and in another theme this might've gotten top marks from me.

@agi: I know, those feet...just an inch lower! But you are correct; this photo was taken on the fly, only one go. Thanks for the great comment.

This was taken at the train station in my neighborhood, but I agree...not really a true representation of that location.

I'm trying too hard to figure out what these two are doing and even thought they may be in a train/subway/metro station, it just doesn't give me "neighborhood". What are they doing?

I agree with culberda, if this were in a different theme, it would be perfect. I do love the eye contact and the composition is great.

@beck: one is talking on a cell phone, the other is looking at me. They are both waiting for a train.
@jen-s: sorry, I don't understand what you mean when you say that you are not happy with the composition or by "a deeper position". This is a candid shot.
