So far, the theme is dominated by twilight/evening shots. I don't recognize the scene, although I find it quite appealing. Is this tilted so that the church spire looks more vertical? It will bother some folks, but I'm not bothered so much.

A most crepuscular sky

setaou said 544 days ago:

@ King : yes, as you have noticed, my street climbs a lot and the shoot has been taken from my window (4th floor)... FYI, the city is Brussels ;-)

Good shot. I get the feel that the city is slowing down for the night (or I guess it could be waking up in the morning).

Nice and not too big.

Great sky. I wish the dark areas were a bit more light and the perspective didn't have one side vertical and the other sloping down.

I love the tilted effect, and there are lots of details in the shadows. Great mood also.

Who are you? We live in the same neighbourhood :)

This is sooo funny !

setaou said 544 days ago:

@ emich : yes, I know, you've invited me on Weeklyshot.org ;-) I'm Avenue Louis Bertrand at Schaerbeek ;-)

I love the lighting in the photo. The fact that the image is crooked really distracts me from enjoying the image completely.

Jondor said 544 days ago:

A nice image which could be improved by a contrast-mask to lighten up the church and the houses a litte. (http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/understanding-series/u-contrast-masking.shtml)

setaou said 544 days ago:

@ Jondor : thanks for the link. I'll try to do better with this tutorial ;-)

I like this twilight time.
